Job Description

Would you like to explore exciting opportunities with Bose wearable products and speakers? The Sensor Development team at Bose has an opening for an embedded engineering co-op.

The duration of this position is 6 months starting in January 2024 (full-time 40 hours/week).

We are seeking talented and energetic students who have proficiency with embedded firmware as well as hardware interfaces to join the embedded sensor firmware team. The sensor team is responsible for providing exciting experiences to users of our products. Enabling user gestures, detecting user wear, and providing motion information are a few of the technical challenges of sensors that help to provide our users with control of our products as well as world class audio.

Candidates should be pursuing a software engineering discipline, preferred electrical engineering concentration.

Ideal candidates have experience pertaining to CPU level interactions with peripherals over serial communications technologies such as I2C, UART, and SPI and experience with embedded programming. Experience with programming C is a must. Experiences with sensors such as infrared, MEMS, and proximity sensors are beneficial.
