A Day in the Life
As part of the Global Operations and Supply Chain organization, you will support the operational performance of the Contract Manufacturers that support our Operating Units. As the Manufacturing Program Manager, you will lead performance management and execution to ensure Quality, Service, and Cost Performance at critical Contract Manufacturers.

This critical role encompasses solving and preventing quality and manufacturing line supply disruptions, driving capacity planning at Contract Manufacturers along with delivering outstanding customer and stakeholder service. You will identify and execute manufacturing improvements and lead Operations Reviews with internal and external leaders.

As the Manufacturing Program Manager, you will:


  • Manage & drive Run the Business activities with Contract Manufacturing operations sites to achieve Quality, Delivery, and Cost performance expectations

  • Coordinate the establishment and tracking of key metrics at the CM (Quality, Delivery & Cost)

  • Conduct capacity planning with Contract Manufacturers

  • Provide manufacturing/operations direction for implementation of sourcing & distribution strategies

  • Project management and overseeing internal support functions and the CMs to ensure an un-interrupted supply of quality product

  • Identify and coordinate process improvement projects that have measurable impact on manufacturing quality, cost, and operational efficiency

  • Performs duties in compliance with environmental, health and safety related site rules, policies or governmental regulations

  • Travel to assigned Contract Manufacturers approximately 10-20%

Must Have: Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors degree required and minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

• Experience in manufacturing and/or manufacturing support functions

• Program management experience

Nice to Have


  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • 5+ years' experience in production & manufacturing of finished good medical devices

  • Previous medical device manufacturing experience or contract manufacturing management

  • Experience with project and cost center budgets

  • Global collaboration and engagement experience

  • Lean Six Sigma experience

  • High customer focus and understanding of customer needs

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels of employees

Supplier performance management experience

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.


  • Responsible for the development and implementation of activities in production area(s) to meet production goals, quality, and cost objectives.

  • Prioritizes production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply.

  • Plans and administers procedures and budgets.

  • Makes budgetary recommendations on capital expenditures and direct/indirect labor.

  • Selects and develops personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the production function.

  • Develops schedules and manpower requirements for assigned areas.

  • Management Skills: Management of Financial and Material Resources, Critical Thinking, Project Management, Management of Personnel Resources, Collaboration and Productivity Software, Effective Communication Skills.

  • Functional Skills: Machining and Manufacturing Technologies, Proficient computer skills, Data Science and Analysis, Lean Manufacturing and continued improvement, Managing Quality.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$102,800 - $154,200

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
