Supervisor, Training & Staff Development - Supply




PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

• 
  Receiving & Stocking:
  




• De-case orders, remove cardboard


• Handle and distribute supplies safely


• Stock and replenish supplies using FIFO


• Check for outdates, remove expired products


• Gather and return unused sterile supplies


• Monitor and restock overstock storage areas


• Maintain tidiness and cleanliness of supply locations


• Clean storage bins and shelves periodically


• Ensure waste, pallets, and skids are clear in breakdown areas


• Provide product location, delivery, and returns support




• 
  Other Tasks:
  




• Perform additional tasks as assigned

Qualifications

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

• Strong work ethic, flexibility, ability to work independently


• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)

EDUCATION:

• 
  Minimum: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent


• 
  Preferred: Some college or Associate's/Bachelor's Degree

EXPERIENCE:

• 
  Required: 3 years in a perioperative environment with inventory management or equivalent


• 
  Preferred: 2 years of supervisory experience

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:

• Up to 10 assigned employees

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Walking, standing, breaking down pallets, moving contents


• Operating Room environment exposure


• Strict dress code, professional appearance, surgical scrubs


• Frequently lift up to 40 lbs, stoop, bend, pull, place, and retrieve materials
