We are currently seeking an Environmental, Safety, and Health (ES&H) Manager to provide industrial hygiene and safety guidance for the Water Program scope of work on Los Alamos National Laboratory sites.

Your Role:

• Lead H&S Consultant onsite for groundwater monitoring, well drilling, surface water monitoring, and stormwater corrective actions.

• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and project safety programs.

• Conduct site investigations and inspections, monitor airborne chemicals, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

• Provide corrective action recommendations for risk mitigation, promote continuous improvement, and monitor changing site conditions.

• Train and mentor employees on the safety program, ensuring adherence to procedural and regulatory compliance.

• Communicate safety program effectiveness with senior leadership, clients, and team members.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and 5-15+ years' experience in industrial hygiene and construction safety, with CHP, CIH, CSP, or HWMM certification preferred.

• 15+ years' industrial hygiene and construction safety experience in lieu of degree and certifications.

• Proven experience developing and managing site-specific health and safety programs, policies, and training.

• Expertise in airborne chemical monitoring and data analysis.

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage at all levels internally and externally.

• Field-oriented mindset with the ability to navigate difficult terrain, participate in rafting trips for sampling, and other physical field activities.

• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical (if required).

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with industrial hygiene and safety for drilling, piping, and cranes.

• Experience working on government projects, preferably with DOE, Navy, or USACE.

• Environmental remediation experience is a plus but not required.
