Job Summary:
As a Wiring Technician , you will wire sub-pans, door devices, and other pertinent power equipment with minimal supervision according to Caterpillar Switchgear Americas (CSA) standards and drawings.
What you will do:
- Wire and route harness's neatly with or without the use of wire loom, according to CSA standards
- Understand the difference between AC and DC voltages and able to accurately and timely perform all wiring duties on sub panels, door devices and enclosures
- Perform all other duties accurately and meet scheduled deadlines
- Perform any other duties assigned by Team Lead, Supervisor and Section Manager
- Understand the usage of hardware such as screws, bolts, nuts, washers, etc. according to CSA Procedures Manual.
What you will have:
- High School diploma or GED
- At least 3 years of experience working in the electrical field
- Ability to work well in a team environment
Top candidates will have:
- Ability to understand, assemble and/or wire to diagrams / schematics with precise detail
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods
- Ability to perform repetitive operations
- Ability to lift to 35 lbs.
Shift
- Monday through Thursday; 5AM - 3:30PM. Additional overtime as needed
