Summary/Objectives

As a Consultant on the Talent Solutions team, you'll be directly responsible for representing the exceptional level of client interaction that has become synonymous with the Hogan name with a diverse set of clients on a variety of projects. These include needs analysis and solution design for assessment implementation and validation, leadership development, team alignment, and candidate selection. Hogan Consultants design and implement validated selection processes for all levels of employees across organizations and drive strategic self-awareness through leadership development assessments and talent development programs. Consultants are key in delivering projects, engaging in ongoing business development, and driving continuous value in client relationships. Consultants support Hogan's organizational objectives by identifying new opportunities to implement assessments and enhance client talent management programs.


Essential Functions:

  • Understand Hogan's business, its products and services, and its competitive environment to remain successful in providing clients with an exemplary level of service that will continue to differentiate Hogan from the competition.
  • Diagnose a client's situation and identify the best way to deliver solutions to effectively meet the needs of the initiative, team, or business area.
  • Manage projects by facilitating internal resource coordination, executing work steps, and ensuring expectations are met regarding timelines, deliverables, and billing.
  • Speak the language of business to clients and translate technical understanding of assessments into solutions to business problems.
  • Generate innovative proposals, present client-led solutions, and identify new opportunities for Hogan sales growth.
  • Engage in relationship-based selling, managing both existing client accounts and new leads.
  • Demonstrate excellent virtual and in-person presence and spoken/written communication skills.
  • Deliver high-quality service in times of heavy workloads and ambiguous situations.
  • Facilitate, train, and present to groups of professionals in large organizations.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert to clients and internal team members in the areas of personality assessment, validation, leadership development, and legal defensibility.
  • Facilitate and deliver Hogan user certification workshops, team development workshops, and other onsite talent management programs on behalf of clients.
  • Leverage a CRM and contract management system to manage a book of business.
  • Provide thought leadership in partnership with the Hogan marketing team on various talent management topics via white papers, social media (e.g., blogs, online forum discussions, etc.) and presentations at professional conferences.
  • Continue to learn and grow, and engage collaboratively with Sr. Consultants to design, deliver, and implement high-quality client experiences.

Requirements:

Experience and Education Requirements:

  • Obtained or pursuing a master's degree or advanced degree in I/O psychology or closely related field required.
  • 2 years of industry-related assessment experience preferred.
  • Consulting and/or international account/channel sales experience preferred.
  • Experience with large group facilitation (both in-person and virtual) and experiential training delivery preferred.
  • Experience working closely with sales management or in a consulting practice.
  • Computer literacy skills (Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Comfort with technology (CRM, productivity software, etc.).

Work Environment/Physical Demands


This position routinely uses standard office equipment. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work


This is a full-time remote position; typical hours and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Some flexibility in hours is allowed with approval. Employees must work 30 or more hours per week to maintain full-time status.

Up to 40%
