Ledgent Finance & Accounting is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounts Payable Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role will play a critical part in our day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and reconciliation of accounts.



Key Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable invoices and match them to purchase orders


• Maintain accurate records and control reports of all accounts payable transactions


• Perform regular reconciliations of accounts and resolve discrepancies


• Ensure timely payment of invoices and vendor communication regarding any payment-related issues


• Manage vendor accounts, setting up new accounts, updating existing information, and monitoring payment terms


• Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures related to accounts payable


• Prepare and maintain detailed accounts payable aging reports


• Collaborate with other departments to streamline AP processes

Qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred but not required)


• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in an Accounts Payable or accounting role


• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar)


• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting


• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills


• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Pay $26 - $32 per hr.
