Regional law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join their team in Denver, CO. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in complex civil litigation. This is a full-time position that requires a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist attorneys in all phases of the litigation process from inception through trial and appeal
Conduct legal research and gather relevant case information
Draft legal documents including pleadings, discovery requests, motions, and briefs
Coordinate and manage document production, including e-discovery
Prepare for depositions, hearings, and trials, including organizing exhibits and creating witness binders
Manage case calendars and deadlines
Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and court personnel
Assist in trial preparation and support attorneys during trial
Maintain and organize case files and records
Perform administrative tasks as needed to support the legal team
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a paralegal in complex civil litigation
Paralegal certification from an accredited program or paralegal studies degree required
Strong knowledge of state and federal court rules and procedures
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Strong proficiency in case management software, e-discovery tools, and Microsoft Office Suite
Trial experience is a plus
Must CURRENTLY live in the Denver metro area. Out of state candidates will not be considered
Offering a base salary of $80,000 - $95,000 (based on experience) and comprehensive benefits package.
