As a Program Manager you will be integral to the execution, tracking and coordination of key business initiatives for the Traveler Engagement and Loyalty team.

In this role you will:

  • Develop project schedule, define timeframe, and prioritize tasks to achieve project milestones and deliver intended objectives
  • Build the basic structure of a program (possibly from scratch) that may include: Business case, prioritization alignment, team engagement, identifying a sponsor, identifying stakeholders, 'sales' pitch to leadership, budget, etc
  • Identify the type of resources required to support a project, and make recommendations for specific people, technology, partners, etc
  • Monitor progress to meet project milestones, timelines, specifications and requirements
  • Keep relevant stakeholders informed of progress toward or changes to task timing that impacts the project schedule
  • Use written and verbal communication skills to confidently convey technical and business concepts to mid-level management
  • Proactively manage risk, working with the team to anticipate new risks and leads mitigation planning
  • Coordinate bringing together different stakeholders with varied perspectives to develop solutions to issues and contribute own suggestions, manage project dependencies across multiple teams
  • Assess bottlenecks in work processes within teams to streamline and simplify workflows
  • Foster a team environment where members are comfortable critiquing and suggesting changes to improve processes
  • Gain stakeholder trust by effectively addressing their concerns to further long-term interests
  • Build understanding of current business processes, objectives and challenges to suggest solutions and improvements
  • Demonstrate a critical understanding of functional information (e.g., legal, data/metrics, and technical information) and is able to accurately answer relevant questions
  • Build clear, concise and well-structured functional material (e.g., policies & procedures, guidelines, presentations, messages) and recommend improvements to existing material
  • Partner with the business to understand and ensure connection to overarching strategy and program and ensures prioritization is aligned with strategy
  • Lead and mentor scrum teams through Agile ceremonies
  • Coordinate with team to define and track the metrics (measures of success) for process improvements

Experience and qualifications

  • Experience: 6+ years of proven project management experience in Marketing, CRM or Technology space.

The total cash range for this position in Austin is $110,500.00 to $155,000.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $177,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
