Apply now for the position of Senior Demand/Manufacturing Planning Professional, and you will be uniquely positioned to make a direct impact on our success at our Rockford, TN manufacturing facility.
This role supports the detector manufacturing facility by timely delivery of components for all product lines, ensuring production plans are developed to support detector/DEA shipments at the system level. This role also supports R&D development, ECO implementation, inventory control, shipping & receiving interaction, and interaction with the Purchasing and procurement groups.
Your role:
• Develop & maintain production schedules to ensure timely delivery of product
• Plan materials ensuring optimal inventory levels are maintained
• Use MRP system to forecast demands, plan production and manage inventory, with a strong understanding of production planning principles.
• Prepare requisitions to obtain necessary materials & components.
• Collaborate with manufacturing team to ensure deadlines are met
• Collaborate with purchasing/procurement team to ensure supplier timeliness
• Comply with all company regulations and safety standards, following SOPs / MPIs
• Knowledge of bill of materials
• Product phase in/ phase out knowledge
• Support R&D new product releases from R&D phase through release to production
Your expertise:
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or related field
• Minimum of 10 years' experience in production planning and control
• Strong knowledge of SAP
• Proficiency in MRP (Material Requirement Planning) planning, especially in SAP
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
