Salary: $26.00 USD Hourly - $27.00 USD Hourly
Description: Judge Healthcare is seeking Remote HCC Coders!
Experience Required: 5+ years HCC coding experience
Location: Fully Remote
Job Type: Contract-to-Hire (6 months with potential for conversion)
Pay: $27 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Ensure ICD-10-CM codes are accurate and comply with government and insurance regulations.
- Audit outpatient charts to validate ICD-10 diagnosis coding on qualifying HCCs.
- Utilize industry-recognized references to support findings, such as the ICD-10 Official Guidelines for Coding and Reporting, AHIMA Standards of Ethical Coding, and AHA Coding Clinics.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in ICD-10 CM coding.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- One of the following coding certifications: CRC, CPC, CIC, CCS.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Familiarity with ICD-10 CM codes and ICD-10 Official Coding Guidelines.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experienced in navigating EMR systems.
- Ability to work independently.
- Flexibility to work from home or office as required by the business.
