Coordinates, conducts, and documents advanced and/or complex analysis within the Central Bank Services (CBS) business lines. Work may include analyzing financial and/or operational data and making recommendations. Regularly utilizes problem solving, decision making and analytical skills to meet changing business needs. Also provides administrative support to members of the CBS officer team.

The level of work is considered advanced, and staff work under minimal supervision. This position has no direct reports.

Your Responsibilities:


  • Maintains, manipulates and analyzes spreadsheets and databases for department


  • Provide administrative and calendar support to members of the CBS officer team


  • Provides analysis, findings, and recommendations on moderate to complex analysis projects or operational activities for the Credit Risk Management and Statistics business lines


  • Identifies inaccuracies/ errors in data and makes recommendations to remedy errors; coordinates small to medium projects on behalf of the department and/or participates in larger Department and/or District strategic projects


  • Contribute to the drafting and editing of department-wide communications


  • Leads control activities for assigned area and/or process control analysis (e.g., tracking of department assets); may act as liaison for audits and audit resolution activities


  • Assists in planning and execution of conferences and meetings including securing meeting space, developing invitations and communications with conference attendees, coordinating written materials, managing staff members involved with event and other related tasks


  • Provides work direction and training to junior staff as needed


  • Assist in providing varied administrative support activities including, but not limited to, maintaining files and leave records, proofreading, processing internal work orders/requests (e.g., travel reimbursements, office supplies), and processing forms (e.g., telephone, facilities, expense check requests, etc.)


Your Background:


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience


  • 5-7+ years of direct work experience


  • Strong analytical skills


  • Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite and demonstrated ability to learn new applications


  • Possesses and applies strong internet navigation and research skills


  • Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills


  • Exhibits excellent judgment and highly professional etiquette


  • Time management and organizational skills


  • Possesses and applies extensive problem solving and decision-making skills


  • Service oriented and flexible to meet changing business needs

Location:

This is a hybrid role. Your presence will be expected in the Chicago, IL Office.
