Your new role
As the Payroll Specialist you will ensure the effective and efficient operational management of the daily permanent payroll function. You will work closely within the team
You will:
Cut weekly payroll checks
Import payroll and reconcile
Forward payroll summary to super for approval
Prepare and submit certified payrolls to agencies
Prepare and submit benefit payments to various unions
Enter new employees
Reconcile fuel usage
Prepare documents for union and insurance audits
What you'll need to succeed
As the successful incumbent in the role you will have 2 years experience with Payroll. You will be happy to work with processes in place that have several manual aspects, be an organised individual used to working within time frames and putting the customer first, and possess outstanding stakeholder management skills.
You will have:
Worked with Excel and be confident with V Lookups and Pivot Tables
Strong task prioritising skills and understand the sense of urgency that comes with payroll
Experience delegating tasks effectively
