Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Certification Leader to work with our Power Products and ASCO (Automatic Switch Company) Line of Business R&D offers. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the certification of our innovative solutions, contributing to their compliance to certification standards. 1. Certification Strategy:

a. Develop and execute certification strategies for power products ATS digital solutions.

b. Define and implement processes to ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.

2. Certification Planning and Execution:

a. Lead project teams through planning and execution of certification efforts, collaborating with regulatory bodies and industry organizations.

b. Ensure compliance with relevant certifications and standards for power products ATS solutions.

c. Responsible for crafting the certification strategies, plans, coordinating the execution of testing, and documenting the full approach and justification for compliance with certification standards.

3. Cross-functional Collaboration:

a. Collaborate closely with product managers, design engineers, and architects to understand system requirements and design effective certification approaches.

b. Work with development teams to address findings and ensure compliance throughout the product lifecycle.

4. Automatic Transfer Switch Expertise

a. Apply specialized knowledge in ATS technologies to understand end-to-end system functionality, security, and performance.

b. Keep abreast of industry trends and evolving certification requirements this domain domains.

5. Quality Assurance:

a. Implement and enforce quality practices to ensure that solutions meet the highest standards.

b. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance validation and certification processes

6. Documentation and Reporting:

a. Generate comprehensive reports documenting validation and certification processes, outcomes, and compliance status.

b. Maintain detailed documentation to support certification audits and inquiries.

7. Regulatory Compliance:

a. Stay informed about regulatory changes and updates relevant to commercial building products.

8. General

a. Ensure proactive compliance with emerging standards and regulations.

b. Play a pivotal role in helping to understand the changes in certification standards as well as how to evolve these in partnership with certification bodies

Qualifications

1. Education:

a. Bachelor's or Master's degree in and Engineering or a related technical field.

2. Experience:

a. Proven experience in a leadership role focused on validation and certification

b. Experience working with certification standards, background in energy management is a plus

3. Technical Skills:

a. Strong understanding certification strategies and approaches

b. Familiarity with UL, CSA, IEC, and other certification bodies

4. Leadership Abilities:

a. Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to lead validation and certification effectively.

b. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external certification bodies.

5. Communication Skills:

a. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non- technical stakeholders.
