Job Description:

Great project role for a Staff/Senior Accoiuntant!


Responsible for assisting with the year-end reporting activities including assisting the Controller with journal entries, reconciliations, and budget analysis/reporting.


Duties:


* Under the guidance of the Controller, prepares budget/actual reporting to state agencies
* Prepares financial schedules to support year-end audit requirements
* Assembles budget/expense documentation to support monthly reporting requirements to agency programs


Requirements:


* Bachelor's degree
* Budget experience 3-5 years including reporting
* Experience utilizing general ledger software and reporting packages.
* Familiar with general ledger chart of accounts and cost centers/project codes
* Journal entries including processing monthly Salary , Fringe benefits , other than personal
* Proficient in excel including V look-up
* Mid-level accounting experience who can take direction from the Controller


Pluses:


*Used of MIP accounting system would be a plus
*Non-profit experiences would be a plus
*State (DCF & DMHAS) Grant reporting would be a plus
