Ledgent Finance & Accounting is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Staff Accountant to join our dynamic team. This position is ideal for a professional with strong accounting knowledge and a passion for accuracy. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for performing general ledger entries, preparing financial reports, and assisting with month-end close processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
Prepare journal entries and ensure accurate financial reporting
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Perform bank and account reconciliations
Assist with audits and ensure compliance with accounting regulations
Work with accounts payable and receivable to ensure accurate financial tracking
Support the month-end and year-end close process
Assist with tax filings and ensure timely payments
Collaborate with team members on financial projects and improvements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
2+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in a corporate environment
Proficiency in accounting software SAP, Netsuite
Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools
Pay: $30 - $40 per hr.
