We are seeking a seasoned Senior Software Engineer to join our team, focusing on developing, enhancing, debugging, supporting, maintaining, and testing software applications for our online platforms. You will be an integral part of designing and implementing complex applications, often leveraging cutting-edge technologies, software, hardware, and tools.
Key Responsibilities:
Software Development & Maintenance: Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications for our online platforms, ensuring robust performance and scalability.
Collaboration & Coordination: Work closely with offshore teams, fellow developers, and business partners to ensure successful delivery and implementation of software solutions.
Technical Leadership: Operate with minimal supervision, providing guidance and support to less experienced consultants and contributing to application support as needed.
Web Development Expertise: Utilize your web development experience to create responsive, user-friendly web applications. Experience with the Spring Framework and REST API development is essential.
Agile Methodologies: Work effectively in a Lean-Agile environment, adapting to changing project needs and driving continuous improvement.
External Coordination: Collaborate with external programmers to ensure seamless delivery and integration of software applications.
Required Skills:
Core Competencies:
Proficiency in Java, J2EE, and Spring Frameworks
Strong experience in REST API development
Hands-on expertise in microservices architecture
Experience with WebSphere application server (preferred)
Front-End Technologies:
Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and jQuery
Experience with Node.js, Handlebars, Vue.js, and responsive web design
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Experience Required:
7-10 years of experience in software development, with a focus on web application development.
Demonstrated ability to lead projects and deliver complex software solutions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
