We are looking for a skilled Technical Writer with experience in creating and maintaining a variety of user documentation, including technical manuals, specification data sheets, and marketing content. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, write, and edit instruction manuals, specification data sheets, product catalogs, and other technical publications in accordance with established style guides.
Perform document layout and desktop publishing.
Create drawings, diagrams, and tables for illustrative purposes.
Collaborate with developers, approval engineers, product managers, and other subject matter experts to gather information.
Edit and standardize materials prepared by others to ensure technical accuracy and compliance with brand standards.
Conduct interdepartmental document reviews.
Maintain up-to-date literature on the website and customer portals.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism, or Technical Writing.
Preferred Qualifications:
At least 3 years of experience in a technical writing role.
Proficiency in desktop publishing software, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat Pro.
Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and influence key stakeholders in a diverse work environment.
Effective communication skills and a willingness to embrace continuous improvement.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
Demonstrated leadership abilities and project management skills.
Solid technical knowledge and understanding of technical terminology.
