Our large property and casualty insurance client is looking to fill an Underwriting Processing Support position in Richmond, VA. Training will be onsite but will transition to fully remote afterwards. Day to day includes providing support pertaining to entering, maintaining, processing and the issuance of insurance or insurance-related documents. MUSTS:
Has been in commercial lines of insurance
Experience working for an insurance company and knowledge of property and casualty specifically
Knowledge of a COI- must know how to read one and what parts are in a COI
Desire to be an underwriter
Moves quickly with production work and comfortable with production work
Experience being on the phones and talking to customers
PLUS:
Underwriting experience for commercial lines
PNC license / PNC License/ Licensed Property and Casualty
