We have partnered with a Global CDMO to search for a Head of Manufacturing in central Iowa. We are looking for an exceptional leader with a passion for coaching and upskilling Team Leaders and Supervisors within GMP manufacturing.

You will be responsible for:
Works with General Manager to establish and implement KPI's for the manufacturing team and ensures the team meet or exceeds targets with an emphasis on efficiency, accurate costs and resource utilization
Provide expertise, leadership and guidance for GMP compliance and corporate quality governance.
Coach, Mentor and Lead manufacturing teams.
Collaborates with Procurement and Planning to ensure production schedule is accurate and there is timely inventory of raw materials for the purpose of ensuring schedule is met within budget and full utilization of people resources
Maintain and/or establish compliant manufacturing policies, procedures, and electronic records.
Create a culture of continuous improvement for processes, systems, training and people
Provides robust analysis and reporting of key manufacturing metrics
You will bring the following:
BS, MS, or PhD in life science or engineering discipline, along with significant industry experience leading GMP manufacturing processes.
Significant experience in manufacturing leadership, managing line managers and teams of over 20.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards for Pharmaceutical manufacturing will be required.
Excellent root cause analysis, analytical, problem solving and organization skills
