Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Drywall Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing drywall projects from start to finish. This role involves overseeing all aspects of drywall projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and quality control.

Responsibilities:

Project Planning:
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope of work, timelines, and resource requirements.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders to ensure project alignment.

Budget Management:
  • Develop and manage project budgets.
  • Monitor costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Scheduling:
  • Create and maintain project schedules.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.

Quality Control:
  • Establish and enforce quality standards for drywall installation.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with specifications.

Risk Management:
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop contingency plans to address unforeseen challenges.

Client Communication:
  • Maintain open and effective communication with clients.
  • Address client concerns and provide timely updates on project progress.

Team Management:
  • Lead and motivate project teams, including drywall installers and subcontractors.
  • Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide necessary training.

Safety Compliance:
  • Ensure adherence to safety regulations and procedures on the job site.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and address any hazards.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in drywall project management.
  • Strong knowledge of drywall installation techniques, materials, and industry standards.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage project budgets and timelines.
  • Experience with construction contracts and change orders.
