Our client, a High Growth Street Wear Brand, is seeking a Director of Merchandising to join their team in Miami, Florida!
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive merchandising strategies
that align with company goals and market opportunities.
Product Development & Timelines: Oversee the creation and curation of product assortments, ensuring they meet our timelines and release dates.
Sales & Performance Analysis: Monitor sales performance, analyze data, and adjust strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the merchandising team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with design, marketing, and sales teams to ensure cohesive product launches and marketing campaigns.
Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, manage stock turn rates, and optimize stock allocation to balance supply and demand.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in merchandising or a related field,
with a proven track record in a leadership role within the apparel industry.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Merchandising, Fashion Design, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus (no required but a plus)
Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with merchandising software and tools, as well as a strong understanding of inventory management systems.
Creativity & Innovation: A keen eye for fashion trends and a creative approach to product assortment and presentation.
