POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
An Assistant Project Manager plays a vital role in supporting the Project Manager and Superintendent in planning, scheduling, and administering assigned projects. Reports to the Senior Project Manager, Project Executive, or VP of Operations.
Review owner contracts and ensure compliance.
Assist in developing master project schedules.
Assist/Manage project costs relative to budget.
Participate in project planning meetings.
Identify risks that may impact cost, schedule, or client satisfaction.
Assist PM in issuing RFI's.
Assist PM in estimating Change orders as needed.
Participate in and document punch list process.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Four-year Construction/Engineering Degree or equivalent commercial electrical trade experience
Minimum of three years' experience in construction, design, finance, and management
Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office programs, Accubid, Excel, Bluebeam.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Advanced knowledge of safety regulations, scheduling, cost control, and quality control
