JOB SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:

The Project Manager is a key leader responsible for driving the successful execution of healthcare projects, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget, while meeting the organization’s goals and regulatory standards. This role involves defining project objectives, managing resources, tracking progress, and resolving any issues that may arise. By expertly managing healthcare projects, the Project Manager ensures successful outcomes that supports the Choctaw Premier Services mission and contributes to its continued success.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resources required.
  • Define project milestones, deliverables, and success criteria in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Lead project teams through the execution phase, managing daily operations, and coordinating tasks.
  • Monitor project progress, track performance, and adjust plans as needed to meet objectives.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including healthcare providers, administrators, patients, and external partners.
  • Facilitate meetings, provide updates, and address stakeholder concerns and feedback.
  • Manage project budgets, including tracking expenses, forecasting costs, and ensure cost-effective resource utilization.
  • Allocate and manage resources, including personnel, equipment, and technology.
  • Identify potential risks and develop risk mitigation strategies to address project challenges.
  • Monitor and address project issues and obstacles to minimize impact on project goals.
  • Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and comply with relevant regulations and organizational policies.
  • Implement and oversee quality control processes to maintain project standards.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, and meeting minutes.
  • Prepare and present regular status reports and project summaries to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Conduct project evaluations and post-implementation reviews to assess project outcomes and identify lessons learned.
  • Ensure that all project deliverables are completed and formally closed out.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage project teams, including providing direction, support, and performance evaluations.
  • Proficiency in analyzing project data, tracking performance, and making data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with stakeholders, preparing reports, and presenting findings.
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
  • Ability to identify and address project issues and challenges effectively.
  • Ability to think strategically and develop innovative solutions to achieve project goals.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and healthcare environments.
  • Commitment to improving patient outcomes and enhancing the quality of healthcare services through project initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience managing healthcare projects, including familiarity with healthcare operations and regulatory requirements.

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, project management, business administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in project management, with a focus on healthcare projects or related field.

PREFERRED:

  • Master’s degree in healthcare administration, project management, business administration or related field.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in project management, with a focus on healthcare projects or related field.
  • Certification in project management (e.g., Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2)
  • Experience with specific healthcare regulations and compliance standards relevant to the project.
