Job Description:

Our client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Product Development Coordinator to join their dynamic team. This role is integral to the product development process, requiring close collaboration with various functions including Design, Merchandising, and Raw Materials.

Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinating the end-to-end sampling process, from prepositioning sample yardage to ordering and tracking garment samples
- Maintaining consistent communication with vendors and suppliers, ensuring adherence to brand calendar
- Attending weekly cross-functional meetings to understand product assortment, business priorities, and represent for all sampling-related topics
- Observing business processes, anticipating potential needs, and uncovering areas for improvement
- Prioritizing workload based on business needs and requirements; managing competing deliverables and business priorities

Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in product development or related area or equivalent experience
- 1-3 years of related experience
- Strong problem-solving abilities and result-driven communication with business partners
- Experience with and/or basic fabric knowledge is a plus
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
- Knowledge of the product lifecycle, especially in a retail setting
- Organized, with strong collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Basic knowledge of PLM (Centric is a plus!)
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently
- Ability to be a team player and foster a commitment to teamwork with other associates

This is a hybrid role, with a minimum of 2 days a week in our client's location. During peak weeks, the team may be in the office up to 4 days a week. The successful candidate will be provided with a company computer and will be expected to work 40 hours per week. Our client is open to considering recent graduates with a minimum of 6 months of work experience and/or internship. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, be a team player, and be able to remain calm in a high-stress environment.
