Maintenance Supervisor - Nights at Clarios, LLC in San Antonio, Texas

What you will do:

The Maintenance Supervisor ensures that maintenance technicians perform their job duties safely, correctly, and efficiently. They will research, plan, and execute repairs on production equipment, communicate between departments, manage critical KPIs, and coach and mentor new and existing technicians. This role is essential in supporting Clarios' mission to create the world's best batteries and uphold our values of operational excellence, customer-centricity, and sustainability. The hours will be 12:00am-8:00am M-F.

How you will do it:


  • Ensure the plant and equipment operate in a state that delivers the planned production capacity while maintaining the required product quality at the lowest maintenance cost.


  • Lead a team of technicians in installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production-critical equipment.


  • Plan, acquire materials, and execute PMs, machinery upgrades, and other projects for the plant.


  • Perform follow-ups and audits on repairs/PMs done by technicians and provide meaningful and timely feedback.


  • Manage KPIs such as MTTR, MTBF, OEE, Post PM performance, and work order accuracy.


  • Hire, coach, and train new and existing technicians to help them grow in their positions or prepare them for growth within the company.


  • Effectively interact with other departments to ensure safety, quality, and production standards are upheld.


  • Create and implement training materials, job plans, and preventative maintenance instructions.


  • Conduct regular check-ups and performance reviews with employees.


  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, challenging the status quo, and embracing simplicity.


  • Promote a collaborative and respectful work environment, encouraging open debate and acting as one team.


  • Support Clarios' strategic pillars of people, operational excellence, technology leadership, customer experience, and sustainability.


  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement and retention, ensuring a motivated and committed workforce.


  • Other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Lead or Maintenance and Engineering Manager.


What we look for:

Required:


  • High School Diploma or GED.


  • Associates degree or higher, or equivalent experience in a technical field.


  • At least 18 years of age.


  • Experience in a leadership role.


  • Strong troubleshooting skills.


  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).


Preferred:

  • Experience using CMMS systems like Maximo, SAP, or any other CMMS system.
