 Job Responsibilities:

On a daily basis, this individual will be responsible for working in a professional team environment and performing various duties that will include but are not limited to:


  • Greet visitors with a positive and helpful attitude and record in visitor log

  • Assist the sales team by processing customer orders for pickup

  • Take orders by telephone, enter data into ordering system

  • Serve as the main point of contact for customers at the Will Call desk by assisting them over the phone and in person with Will Call pick up orders

  • Ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment; collaborate with warehouse staff to verify orders are ready for pickup

  • Answer customer inquiries and resolve issues

  • Maintain organized records, assist in tracking order statuses, and provide reports as needed

  • Work with Vendors, Brokers and Sales Associates to optimize sales opportunities through samples and receipt of special delivery products

  • Scans and uploads daily Bill of Lading documents

  • Balances Will Call transactions daily and closes up front reception area

Job Requirements


  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Must be able to read and write English fluently as relates to job requirements

  • At least 1 year customer service experience strongly preferred; comfortable working over the phone

  • Preferred background in food service, restaurant or distribution center operation

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to organize and prioritize to meet deadlines

  • Basic telephone, computer and data entry skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and 10 key

  • Professional attitude and appearance required

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Basic mathematic skills

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to understand and respond to the needs of both internal and external customers

  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen

  • Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm. Must be willing to work rotating Sundays

Essential Functions:
Constant* sitting; Constant use of arms, hands, fingers to perform desk-top duties and utilize computer; Constant use of speech and hearing abilities both on phone and in-person; Occasional** lifting up to 20 lbs
*Constant 80% +      **Occasional less than 10%
