Textile Products Inc. (TPI) is looking for an on-site Quality Manager who will be responsible for ensuring sustainable quality of our products and services before customers' consumption, provide quality assurance support to the production team and other potential issues and ensuring that products meet customer specifications.
Responsibilities
Overall responsibility for product quality prior to shipment as measured by agreed upon metrics such as Lab Rejection Rate, Internal/External CPARs and Customer Complaints
Supports the AS9100D Quality Management System
Regularly analyze quality data and suggest actions based on collected data
Manage the log of quality reports and other quality documentation
Ensure quality and sustainability of production processes
Oversees collecting and evaluating production samples, ensuring that materials and products meet acceptable quality and integrity standard
Coordinates employee efforts to ensure efficient production and manufacturing lines
Drafts and maintains logs, records, and other documentation of testing procedures, methodologies, and criteria
Maintains records of test results, defects identified, and other key metrics related to quality control
Analyzes quality control test results and offers feedback and interpretations of those results to production management or staff
Prepares certificates of conformance for shipments to customer
Supports customer compliant analysis
Prepares standard operating procedures, manuals, and documentation for the manufacturing and QA processes, as required
Qualifications / Requirement
7+ years' experience in quality or related fie
Strong communication skills, written and spoken
4-year degree in physical sciences or engineering, or equivalent experience
Web and/or chemical handling experience or similar
Thorough knowledge of methodologies of quality assurance and standards, familiar with AS9100 or ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
Formal quality training or certification strongly encouraged
Excellent numerical skills and understanding of data analysis/statistical methods
Knowledge of MS Office and database
Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
Team player
Salary range DOE $80k-$110k
