Job Description:

Our client is seeking a leader to direct and manage all activities related to supporting customers seeking capital equipment solutions and the parts required. This leader oversees the planning, procurement, inventory, sale, shipment, and customer satisfaction for the Customer Parts business. In this very visible hybrid role, this leader will be in charge of the company's highest revenue generating team, as they stay ahead of the industry and work both on providing the latest technology solutions and being the best in the business for service.

Responsibilities will include:
• Administrative management of customer service parts department while training and developing direct reports.
• Direct and motivate the supervisors and employees to achieve the set goals for the department and provide excellent service to clients.
• Monitor current customer base and recommend strategies to attain more clients and ensure optimal customer satisfaction.
• Create and direct system enhancements in several areas reducing cost and improving customer service.
• Ensure a focus on quality and consistency throughout the organization.
• Identify and resolve any issues in the parts department and ensure the achievement of all short and long-term objectives.
• Coordinate all aspects of the customer service parts department, including quarterly and annual budget forecasting and exceeding the department's financial goals.
• Develop pricing and marketing strategies for customer parts activities.
• Develop programs to ensure increased market share, increased revenue to enhance the Company's market position.
• Travel to customer sites and trade shows to promote customer parts as needed (up to 20% of time)

Background profile:
• Bachelor of Science degree preferably in a technical discipline, MBA preferred.
• Minimum of three years in a management position and 8+ years in a customer facing role, including prior experience in some technical area such as engineering, assembly, service or equipment/part sales, with the ability to handle financial responsibilities.
• Working knowledge of all aspects of the capital equipment business and/or service parts business

Managed a constant inventory control program while maintaining tight inventory control procedures with an integrated ERP systems like SAP.
• Supervised overall daily operations by defining and implementing long and short-term objectives.
