Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Buyer at Freeman Schwabe Industrial Die Cutting Presses in Cincinnati, OH. The Buyer will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, equipment, and services needed for our operations. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing inventory levels, managing supplier relationships, evaluating quotes, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services to support the production process.
Qualifications
Sourcing, Negotiation, and Purchasing skills
Inventory Management and Supplier Relationship Management
Ability to analyze quotes and make informed purchasing decisions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational, administrative and time management abilities
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 Suite of Products & Experience with Windows based computers.
At least five years of experience in purchasing or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
Excellent skills at negotiating and contract writing.
