Part-Time Activities Assistant/Receptionist
Location: Marin Post Acute, San Rafael, CA
Position Type: Part-Time (Friday-Sunday)

Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Part-Time Activities Assistant/Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with resident activities and providing front desk reception coverage from Friday to Sunday. This dual-role position requires a candidate who is personable, organized, and passionate about making a positive impact in our residents' lives.

Key Responsibilities:

Activities Assistant Duties:

• Assist in planning, organizing, and implementing engaging activities and programs for residents.


• Encourage resident participation in activities to promote socialization and enhance their quality of life.


• Set up and clean up activity areas before and after events.


• Monitor and document residents' participation and progress in activities.


• Assist with transporting residents to and from activity areas as needed.

• Greet and assist visitors, residents, and staff in a friendly and professional manner.


• Answer and direct phone calls, taking messages as needed.


• Manage the front desk area, ensuring it is tidy and welcoming.


• Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.


• Perform clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and maintaining records.

• High school diploma or equivalent.


• Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a skilled nursing facility.


• Experience in recreational therapy or activities coordination is a plus.


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.


• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.


• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
