Clinical Content Intern

What you'll do:

• Performs literature reviews on clinical topics


• Performs literature reviews on diversity, equity, and inclusion


• Researches diversity, equity, and inclusion data


• Applies evidence rating methodology to peer reviewed literature


• Writes brief evidence summaries using evidence-based literature


• Prepares slide decks for presentation of collected evidence and data

Qualifications:

• Undergraduate rising Junior or Senior majoring in one of the following courses of study: English/Liberal Arts, Public Health, Health Sciences, Nursing, Biology.


• A positive attitude is a must as well as a willingness to learn and apply new skills.


• Experience with Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Visio, Project, and PowerPoint).


• Strong verbal and written communication skills essential.

Additional Information:

• 
  Location : This is remote internship and can be performed anywhere in the United States .

• 
  Work Authorization: One goal of this internship program is to prepare and identify qualified candidates for roles with The Cigna Group post-graduation. Therefore, this temporary internship is open only to individuals who are eligible for employment in the United States and who would not require visa sponsorship now or in the future.

• 
  Schedule: You must be available to work 40 hours/week for 10-12 consecutive weeks in the summer of 2025.

• 
  Compensation: For this position, we anticipate offering an hourly rate between $22.00 and $23.00, depending on year of study.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an hourly rate of 17 - 52 USD / hourly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
