Job Summary:



We are seeking a skilled Project Coordinator with experience in estimating and proficiency in Primavera P6 software. The ideal candidate will be capable of working both in the office and in the field, managing TxDOT, roading, and bridge projects. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate multiple aspects of construction projects.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Project Coordination: Assist in the planning, scheduling, and execution of TxDOT, roading, and bridge projects.


  • Estimating: Prepare accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment required for projects.


  • Scheduling: Utilize Primavera P6 software to develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones.


  • Field Work: Conduct site visits to monitor progress, ensure compliance with project specifications, and address any issues that arise.


  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including reports, schedules, and change orders.


  • Communication: Facilitate effective communication between project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.


  • Problem Solving: Identify and resolve project-related issues promptly to minimize delays and cost overruns.


  • Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to TxDOT standards, safety regulations, and industry best practices.


Qualifications:



  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project coordination, with a focus on estimating and scheduling for TxDOT, roading, and bridge projects.


  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.


  • Skills: Proficiency in Primavera P6 software, strong estimating skills, and excellent organizational and communication abilities.


  • Field Experience: Ability to work both in the office and on-site, with a willingness to travel as needed.


  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as PMP or similar are a plus.


  • Knowledge: Familiarity with TxDOT standards and regulations is highly desirable.
