Our client is one of Houston's leading heavy civil contractors who operate in the civil highway construction market. They self-perform all of their work and specialize in earthwork, underground utilities, bridge construction, concrete paving and concrete structures. They have an excellent reputation in the market and a solid pipeline of work.


Your new role


As Foreman, you will be responsible for preparing daily plans and communicating what goals need to be accomplished. Ensure that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed. Review and verify employee timecards are correct before submitting them. Communicate all maintenance needs associated with equipment. Be able to interact with customers and clients professionally.


What you'll need to succeed
You will have at least 5-7 years working in the field as a foremen with crew specializing in siteworks or earthwork scope on TxDot projects. You will ideally hold or be eligible to receive a TWIC Card and OSHA basic plus card. To be successful in this role, you possess the knowledge and experience of supervising and managing building & civil projects. You will be motivated, and have the drive to succeed.
