Job Description:

Our client is seeking a Facilities Gas & Chemical Engineer in Siler City, NC.


Role Description


Conduct technical evaluations for the planning, design, operations and maintenance of specialty gas and chemical distribution systems including bulk gas (N2, O2, Argon), clean dry air (CDA), and process vacuum.
Communicate and coordinate with factory engineering groups to provide technical support, supply issue resolution, and collaboration for improved safety, quality, and system reliability.
Commission and startup new equipment installations, ensuring uninterrupted supply to internal customers.
Work with professionals within and outside the department to develop design criteria, project scopes, schedules, and funding requests to successfully define and deliver projects
Prepare funding estimates, establish budgets, control costs and administer contracts.


Skills & Requirements


BS in Chemical or related discipline.
Experience in industrial facilities and proven track record in project management. Semiconductor, cleanroom, or high-tech manufacturing experience preferred.
Experience with HazOps; PHA's; and root cause analysis tools.
Experienced with PSM/RMP program management.
