Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent with a strong background in ground-up grocery store construction. The ideal candidate will oversee all phases of construction projects from initial planning to completion, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Project Management: Oversee all aspects of construction projects, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating subcontractors, materials, and equipment.

  • Site Supervision: Manage daily on-site activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and project specifications.

  • Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to ensure work meets quality standards and client expectations.

  • Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.

  • Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among all stakeholders.

  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines.

  • Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and change orders.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent, with specific experience in ground-up grocery store projects.

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

  • Skills: Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Proficiency in construction management software and tools.

  • Certifications: OSHA certification and other relevant industry certifications are a plus.

  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
