Engineering Project Manager - New Product Development - Optics - Rochester
We are partnered with an optical manufacturing leader in Rochester as they look to hire an experienced Engineering Project Manager on a permanent basis.
This is a new position within the company, whereby you will be responsible for managing new product development projects through all stages of the development lifecycle, from requirement definition through to release manufacturing.
Role: Engineering Project Manager
Location: Rochester, NY
Salary: $90,000 - $110,000
The skills needed for the role include:
Proven experience successfully managing and executing multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to work with high-level stakeholders on a technical level, gather their requirements and translate the information across the organization in an understandable manner.
Experienced working on continuous improvement projects.
Experienced working across disciplines (technical and non-technical) to identify and manage project risk.
Ability to successfully manage a project on time and in budget.
Clear and concise documentation and communication skills.
Previous experience / knowledge of optics or machine manufacturing will be advantageous in this role.
