Overview:
The Supply Planner will act as the primary contact for Infrastructure supply plans which support Facebooks mass production builds at its data centers, POPs, and MNA locations globally. As a Supply Planner, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate supply levels, researching supply discrepancies, and forecasting future supply needs. In addition, you will support development and enhancement of business processes, tools, and analytics to support demand planning, forecasting activities and inventory management. You will be part of a team working to mitigate supply chain risks to support the program demand. This position is part of the Meta's Infrastructure Supply chain and Engineering team reporting to the Global Technology Source team.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with manufacturers to align supply and demand.
Resolve supply chain issues quickly.
Support procurement activities and track issues.
Enhance operational efficiency through analysis and support.
Develop strategies for timely, cost-effective product delivery.
Monitor and improve supply chain performance using data.
Work with IT to implement new tools and systems.
Prepare and maintain process documentation.
Minimum Qualifications:
BA/BS in Business, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
3+ years in Supply Planning.
Experience in demand forecasting and inventory optimization.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, Power BI, etc.
Preferred Qualifications:
Project management and MRP experience.
Understanding of supply chain processes.
Proficiency in procurement processes.
Experience with SQL or a quantitative background.
