Job Description:
Responsibilities
- Analyze project specifications, blueprints, and other bid documents
- Confer with architects, owners, general contractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates
- Identify potential risks and opportunities in project bids
- Conduct site visits to assess project conditions and requirements
- Participate in pre-bid meetings and clarify bid requirements
- Ensure bids are submitted on time and in compliance with all requirements
- Maintain a database of historical bid data and pricing information
- Conduct post-bid analysis to improve future bidding processes
Qualifications
- Bilingual communication (Spanish and English)
- Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Time management skills to meet tight deadlines
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple bids simultaneously
- Primarily office-based with occasional site visits
- May require travel to project sites or client meetings
