Dyke Industries, Inc, is currently seeking an Estimator to join the team at our Cincinnati corporate office.
In this position, you will work with a sales team alongside our chief estimator to provide cost planning & estimating services to support our projects. The open position will serve as support for our business plan with a primary focus on our key market segments: residential, commercial and multi-unit dwellings.
The ideal candidate will have building materials estimating experience and the desire to grow and advance into a leadership role within the organization.
Local Cincinnati branch services the tri-state area of OH, KY, IN with Detroit, MI Metro area

What You Will Do:
Taking count of the doors on the project, selecting best source for doors needed from available suppliers, self-performance pricing, scheduling, bid solicitation, subcontractor scope coordination and final bid assembly.
Scanning available projects through Construct Connect and our industry connections
Coordinate efforts with purchasing, commercial sales manager and branch manager
Provide cost expertise to our clients and sales team members to assist in making decisions.
What You Will Bring:
2+ years of Estimating experience, industry experience equivalent is considered
Technical degree preferred, but not mandatory
Knowledge of construction processes/industry/delivery methods
Your ability to learn new software is essential to this position
Abilities:
Possess all auditory, speaking and communicating capabilities.
Honest, reliable, dependable and display good character.
Physical requirements: standing, walking, bending, twisting, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting to 50lbs., seeing and reading.
