ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking a Planner/Scheduler for an Aerospace manufacturing company in Westminster, CO.
Review customer contracts and requirements, develop a schedule plan, and communicate it to the program team. Collaborate with Control Account Managers (CAM) and Integrated Product Team (IPT) Leads to determine resource needs.
Lead and manage the development and implementation of the program baseline to meet Earned Value Management (EVM) System Description requirements. Oversee schedule efforts for the Integrated Baseline Review (IBR) and analyze schedules for reporting to customers and management.
Act as the scheduling subject matter expert for a portfolio of programs, facilitating scheduling discussions, creating project schedules, and identifying relationships with other projects. Support technical experts in establishing milestones and monitoring adherence to the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
Recommend and lead scheduling best practices and process improvements. Align programs and operations with strategic objectives set by the Strategic Business Unit (SBU) and support the Program Management Office in achieving business objectives.
Coordinate planning and setting baselines across the portfolio, perform what-if scenarios for schedules, manage detailed production schedules, and assist with proposal planning. Maintain effective working relationships and perform other necessary duties to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
BS degree in related field plus 8 or more years of related experience.
Each higher-level degree, i.e., Master's Degree or Ph.D., may substitute for two years of experience. Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.
Experience developing/maintaining schedules on multiple programs using Microsoft Project.
Understanding of and 5 years or more experience working in an earned value environment.
