We are seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead the safe and efficient operation of the powerhouse & utilities at an established manufacturing plant. In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day operations, ensuring full regulatory compliance, and leading efforts to enhance plant performance. We are particularly interested in candidates with a strong background in operations & maintenance (O&M) and expertise with power generation and powerhouse equipment.
Responsibilities
Manage all plant operations, ensuring smooth, safe, and efficient performance
Run the utilities at the manufacturing plant (i.e. powerhouse equipment, lights, generators, chilled water, wastewater, steam generators, compressed air, etc.)
Oversee and implement preventive maintenance program to minimize downtime and extend equipment life
Ensure full compliance with safety regulations and industry standards, fostering a strong safety culture throughout the plant
Develop, monitor, and manage the plant's operational budget
Coordinate maintenance schedules and activities to ensure maximum uptime and productivity
Lead and mentor plant personnel, providing training to improve operational expertise and maintain high safety standards
Analyze operational data to identify areas of improvement, and implement strategies for process optimization
Requirements
High school Diploma or equivalent
8+ years of relevant work experience
3+ years of supervisory experience
Understanding of power generation & powerhouse equipment including chilled water, heat recovery steam generators (HRSGs), control systems, and water treatment systems.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
