Kforce has a client in San Antonio, TX that is looking for an IT Auditor.
Key Responsibilities:
Audit Planning and Execution:
Develop and execute comprehensive IT audit plans, including risk assessments, audit objectives, scope, and methodology
Senior IT Auditor will perform detailed assessments of IT systems, applications, infrastructure, and processes to identify control weaknesses, risks, and improvement opportunities
Conduct audits in areas such as cybersecurity, data privacy, IT operations, change management, disaster recovery, and business continuity
Risk Assessment and Control Evaluation:
Evaluate the effectiveness of IT controls and identify potential risks to the organization
Assess the adequacy of security measures and compliance with relevant regulations and standards (e.g., SOX, GDPR, PCI-DSS)
Review and assess the implementation of IT policies, procedures, and best practices
Reporting and Communication:
Prepare clear, concise, and well-documented audit reports, including findings, recommendations, and action plans
As a Senior IT Auditor, you will communicate audit results to management and stakeholders, providing actionable insights to improve IT controls and processes
Collaborate with IT and business units to facilitate the implementation of audit recommendations
Continuous Improvement:
Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes impacting IT audit and cybersecurity
Develop and enhance audit tools, techniques, and methodologies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the audit process
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior auditors and support their professional development
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, or a related field; A Master's degree is a plus
Professional certifications such as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) are highly preferred
Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT auditing, information security, or a related field
Strong understanding of IT governance, risk management, and control frameworks (e.g., COBIT, NIST, ISO 27001)
Proficiency in auditing techniques and tools, including data analytics and automated audit software
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and deadlines
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
