We're presenting an exciting opportunity for a Regional Sales Manager, Northeast. As a Regional Sales Manager, you will have the pivotal role of driving revenue and margin goals within your assigned region. This opportunity entails leading a team of Account Executives, cultivating a culture that prioritizes exceptional performance, and developing sales plans. Additionally, you will be responsible for providing valuable coaching, fostering professional development, and ensuring a high level of accountability towards achieving goals.
Here’s a General Overview of What You’ll be Doing:
Meet established monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue and margin goals for the assigned region
Formulate sales plans for the region including short and long-term strategies and tactics
Foster a performance excellence process and culture within the sales team and throughout the cross-functional support teams that intersect the sales team
Coach the team in the utilization of Salesforce and ensure accountability
Drive a sufficient pipeline of opportunities in Salesforce to achieve goals, ensuring integrity and necessary velocity
Conduct regular meetings with the Account Executives to monitor performance, provide coaching, strategy development and identify development opportunities
Participate in sales calls with Account Executives, providing coaching and feedback
Foster a relationship with top customers within the region to ensure retention
Provide support for escalated customer calls and advocate for resolution within the organization
Participate in the creation of customer and prospect presentations
Coordinate needs analysis of existing/potential customers with their Account Executives to identify and develop growth plans
Identify, hire, and train new Account Executives following the company’s established on-boarding process
Cultivate a high-performing sales culture including high customer retention rates
Participate in sales calls with Account Executives, providing coaching and feedback
What We’re Looking For:
5 Years of leadership experience in the furniture industry
Extensive experience and proficiency with Salesforce
Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
Proven ability to drive the sales process from prospect to close
Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Prior experience successfully managing sales teams and achieving revenue targets
