We focus on high-impact projects, meeting our clients where they are to uncover business needs and deliver results. Our teams go beyond the expected to help clients move confidently through ambiguity and risk and drive more transformative outcomes. Our Denver office is looking to add consultants to our Operations Capability team and are open to hire at a Consultant or Senior Consultant level, based on candidate's experience.
What You'll Do:
Operate with a strong client focus and ensure that projects deliver to client needs
Lead the design and facilitation of client workshops to understand current business practices and identify improvement opportunities
Conduct organizational assessments to evaluate business operating models, assess the maturity of business capabilities, analyze data for insights, and identify gaps and solutions to achieve client strategic objectives
Document and assess the business processes to identify pain points, prioritize improvements, and develop future state recommendations
Support client data driven decision making through the development of business models and business cases
Deliver business transformation and operational improvement through solutions in organizational design, operating and governance models, capability development, and process improvement.
Position yourself with the client as a partner and Operations expert to build and maintain relationships
What You'll Bring:
3-7+ years of project and outcome-based work; prior management consulting experience preferred
Strong business acumen and analytical problem-solving skills
Strong communication and relationship building skills
Experience conducting organizational current-state assessments, developing organizational/transformational strategies, and planning operating and governance models
Experience designing business processes, decision-making, and interactions that drive business strategy and outcomes
Experience with process improvement, process automation, value stream analysis, and an awareness of change management methodologies
Experience guiding other team members to achieve client outcomes and project objectives
Strong meeting and workshop facilitation skills
Able to analyze data quickly and relay complicated data in digestible terms
Easy adaptability to new environments; embracing ambiguity
Knowledge of a broad range of areas that could include:
Process improvement methodologies, lean and six sigma
Business operations design & analysis
Business architecture, capability and operating models
Business model creation, data analysis, and ROI calculations
Business case development
Strategic roadmap & execution plans
Systems thinking & business interaction models
Competitive research & analysis

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the base salary pay range is Consultant $85,000-120,000 and Senior Consultant is $110,000-149,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
