Job Description:

Our client in the North Atlanta area is seeking an AR Staff Accountant for a Contract opportunity. This role will play a crucial part in managing and processing revenue transactions, while also supporting various broader accounting functions.


This is a full on-site position. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting Required.







RESPONSIBILITIES:



• Thorough understanding and accurate processing of revenue transactions.


• Oversee end-to-end cash management processes, including cash application, bank reconciliations, and ensuring timely and accurate recording of cash receipts.


• Update and maintain financial records within the NetSuite system.


• Perform bank account and balance sheet reconciliations.


• Investigate and resolve discrepancies to ensure precision in financial reporting.


• Support Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions.


• Review and reconcile expense reports to ensure compliance with company policies.


• Collaborate with billing and sales departments to reconcile revenue discrepancies and ensure accurate revenue reporting.


• Participate in month-end close activities, conducting detailed revenue and cash flow analysis to support financial reporting and decision-making.


• Develop and implement efficient revenue recognition processes and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:



• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required.


• Minimum of 3 years of experience in bank reconciliations and cash management.


• Expert in multi-unit/multi-entity accounting, including reconciling multiple bank accounts and managing intercompany transactions.


• Expert in GL reconciliations and month-end close activities.


• Proven experience with NetSuite or a comparable large ERP system.


• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, V-Lookups, and formula editing (SUM & IF statements).
