JOB SUMMARY:



Under administrative direction, coordinates and manages the generation, development, execution and evaluation of special events, health screenings and Community Outreach activities offered through the Community Outreach and Health Improvement program. Utilizes the Echo databases to process physician referral requests, class registration, screening activity and health information services for the community. Maintains certification and performs Car Seat Safety checks and education for the community.

Qualifications

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES




Education & Training: Bachelor's degree in Community Outreach or Public Health required. Certification in National Car Seat Safety preferred; eventual certification required. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.



Work Orientation & Experience: This incumbent will work with the Director of Community Outreach and Health Improvement, and members of Community Outreach to develop and provide routine community outreach for Harford and Cecil County residents. One (1) year of experience in health care computer-based referral services required.



Skills & Abilities: Demonstrates effective interpersonal skills. Possesses strong customer service skills. Organizes multiple tasks and manages time effectively. Works independently. Communicates effectively in both written and verbal formats. Demonstrates strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Utilizes computer technology with knowledge of Microsoft Office software to include Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint, and data base software products. Demonstrates ability to input and retrieve data from personal computer.
