Job Title: Senior Database Administrator

Salary: $139,194/yr.

Summary: Acushnet Company in Fairhaven, MA seeks Senior Database Administrator for designing, configuring and maintaining a variety of relational databases, ensuring integrity, supporting end users, creating custom reports and conducting upgrades.

Responsibilities:

Duties include:

• Designing and coding document database systems as well as specifying identifiers of database to management systems;


• Installing and testing database upgrades and patches as well as reviewing service-related reports (e.g.: database backups, maintenance, monitoring) daily to ensure service-related issues are identified and resolved proactively;


• Reviewing system designs for database requirements as well as procedures in database management systems in order to modify and improve existing databases and management system;


• Administering data warehouse strategies and security access strategies for specialized database products as well as implementing security measures to safeguard information;


• Providing support for production databases and technical support;


• Monitoring database performance in order to perform necessary maintenance and develop documentation to outline Acushnet's database structures;


• Designing and coordinating the implementation of database modifications and enhancements;


• Building database schema, tables, procedures and permissions.

Skills and Qualifications:

Experience must have included:

• Database administration - Microsoft SQL server, Database migration and upgrade.


• SQL Server tools: Enterprise Manager, SSMS, Profiler, Query Analyzer, DB Artisan, Toad for SQLserver, DDBoost, Query store


• Database administration (DB2 Mainframe) - V8 and V9, AS400


• DB2 Zos Tools: BMC Tools, File Aid, SPUFI, Change Manager, Endeavor, BMC log Analyzer, VSAM, COBOL, Omegamon performance monitoring for DB2, system I navigator


• Database administration (SAP HANA) - HANA studio


• Cloud computing - Azure, Oracle

Required Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
