As a Cell Culture Scientist at NeuroKaire, you will be a pivotal contributor to our groundbreaking research. You will lead a team of skilled scientists and technicians, overseeing daily experiments and driving continuous improvement in our laboratory processes. Your expertise in cell culture, stem cells, differentiation, and scale-up techniques will be instrumental in advancing our patient testing capabilities and technologies.
Starting salary is $80,000 - $90,000
Principal duties and responsibilities:
Maintaining, reprogramming and differentiating human stem cells in various conditions, including protocol optimization, scale-up, process development, and functional assays.
Co-design and help execute well-controlled in vitro experiments to demonstrate technological feasibility and improvements of product.
Devise and write SOPs and protocols.
Collaborate internally, and present data to the team and management.
Qualifications & experience:
Prepared a dissertation to receive a Ph.D. degree and ready to present and defend the dissertation within 12 months or has just received a Ph.D. degree within the past 12 months:
Ph.D focused on cell biology or related discipline (neuroscience preferred).
Extensive hands-on experience working with various cell cultures: maintenance, splitting etc. - must. Stem cells experience - highly preferred (maintenance, reprogramming and differentiation).
Demonstrated excellence in planning, executing and analyzing experiments.
Critical thinking and independence, ability to troubleshoot, solve difficult problems, and develop process and/or assay improvements
Attention to detail and careful record-keeping
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects
Excellent oral and written communication skills, able to write technical reports and protocols
