Job Description:
PDS Optical is a SDVOSB Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business that manufactures a very large number of eyeglasses each day. We have Optical Laboratories in Louisville, KY and Fort Lauderdale, FL and manage many optical stores across the US and Puerto Rico. We consider our employees to be our most valuable asset and would love for you to consider joining our team.We are looking for a maintenance technician who is responsible for maintaining equipment and property for day-to-day optical laboratory functions.
The shift is from Monday - Friday 2:45 pm - 11:15 pm. We offer 401K options with company match safe harbor, medical, dental and more!

Essential Functions include but are not limited to:
- Monitor and change all HVAC filters
- Maintain exterior property
- Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and routine building maintenance
- Responsible for completing all maintenance service requests as assigned
- Perform or schedule with outside contractors all other building maintenance as needed
- Maintain all OSHA, Federal, State, Local and Company Safety requirements for lab operations
- Check and change light bulbs, interior and exterior as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe workplace
- Assist in heavy lifting, removing or rearranging furniture
- Must have basic plumbing and electrical knowledge
